Thanks Nathan. I just read your post. And I published your last links on SoundDesigners.

Keep publishing, it's awesome! Specialy the hard driver, and robot recording!

Female, 24, "hobbyist". I like to listen, and sometimes that extends to making things for other people to listen to. I've entertained the idea of the professional realm (and been encouraged to), but I'm hoping to go back to school for psychology or social work. Ultimately, I would like to work for a nonprofit that employs creative therapies (especially music and sound) for disadvantaged and special needs kids. I find a lot of inspiration on your site and others like it. For fun, anything that makes me laugh! The past year has seen a lot of screenings of those so-awful-they're-great, VHS-only, late 90s sci-fi movies with friends.

Only came across your site since noticing you on Social Sound Design. Been enjoying your exploits ever since and damn you you've made me really need to get some location recorder even though that'll really piss off my bank manager.

My stats...
Male, married, 30 years young. Full time employee Sound Mixer/Designer/Dialogue Editor mongrel skilled geek. I brew beer and care for my ill wife in my spare time.

I have to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying being a small part of this group of sound people that's emerged recently.

Your stats are quite better than mine, but then again, you've been a member of the blogging world a lot longer!

How much traffic do you get a month? What's your bounce rate?

Thanks for being so consistent with your blog! You have some really great insight. It's always nice to know that there are real people on the other side of my computer screen...
